Alberto Bertolini and Alessandra Galli architetti graduated at the Milan Polytechnic and established their studio in Luvinate (Va) and in Milan (Italy) in 1995. The key premise of their projects is a careful analysis of the historical and morphological features of the interested area. Some of their key works include: Infant School and Public Park in Bernareggio (Milan, Italy) 1996-2003, enlargement of Sim-patia Center for Motor-disabled in Valmorea (Como, Italy) 2001-2005, renovation and expansion of the Hotel Stuva Colani in Madulain (St.Moritz, Switzerland) 2011; renovation of Villa Bossi-Gadola in Bodio Lomnago Varese (2015-current), as well as numerous residential buildings in northern Italy. Among the prizes received in Architectural Competitions: expansion of the “Moriggia Sporting Center” in Gallarate (Varese, Italy), 2001; reorganization of the Verdi square and Popolo square in Como (Italy), 2001; the new ‘Aler’ head offices in Varese (Italy), 2004; Europan 8, Aulla are (Massa Carrara, Italy), 2005; “Il colore: materia per l’architettura” (“Color: architectural substance”) – Faenza (Italy) 2005; reformation of the Chieri City Center Squares and of the ex-Consorzio Agrario ex-Caselli area (Torino, Italy), 2006, the requalification of the Cermenate City Center (Como, Italy), 2007, the
renewal of Uggiate Trevano City Center (Como, Italy), 2008.
