Valeria Guerrisi
aleria Guerrisi is an architect and graphic designer based in Rome.
In 2013 earned a Master degree in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) summa cum Laude and a Master in strategic design and innovative management of the archaeological heritage in Rome at the Accademia Adrianea di Architettura e Archeologia.
During her Master's first academic year, she has been selected for the Erasmus exchange program at the internationally recognized FAUP, in Oporto.
In 2011 her work recieved a special mention at the international competition Piranesi-Prix de Rome and in 2013 won the international competition in Genoa Summer School in collaboration with San Rocco Magazine.
In 2014 she was an intern in studio Baukuh and the very same year won a post-degree scholarship at the Scuola Politecnica di Genova to design the new wing of the university library in Genoa.
In 2015 she collaborated with Professor Valter Scelsi to several competitions and projects such as the renovation of the Theatre Carlo Felice Café by Aldo Rossi and, toghether with Baukuh, to the I phase of the Invited Competition "Fausto Melotti- Le signe élevée" in NMNM in Montecarlo and won the I prize.
In 2015 she collaborated with Prof. Carmen Andriani and Prof. Valter Scelsi to the renovation of the Theatre Carlo Felice Café by Aldo Rossi.
Her work is published by domusweb and several critical writings on architecture.
She also designed books for important architectural editors such as Araldica, Sagep, Skira, Rizzoli International.
