Andres Guzmán Chávez
An architect with honors from UNAM and NTNU in Norway, with studies in urbanism and wood production. His thesis “Urban Oasis” Superimposed Ecosystems develops a theoretical link in urban theories of the second half of the 20th century and the non-hierarchical development of cities, tested in his hometown (Mexico City) as a utopian postulate to rethink urbanism; this earned the highest award. He has collaborated on various social housing projects and as a partner at Taller 4:00 am with Israel Rodríguez. He founded his own office AGCh+RJB in 2018 along with Rafael Jaime (2018) and later with the addition of Alejandro Gutiérrez (2020) it became Oficina Documental de Espacio, an office of art, architecture, and urbanism.
