Jailmake
Founded in 2011 by Jamie Elliott, Jailmake are designers and engineers with an embedded ethos of design through making. The practice works across all scales and typologies from their studio and workshop in South London.
Projects range from jewellery, furniture and lighting, through to large-scale immersive environments and interior design. These are a mixture of self-initiated projects, as well as in collaboration with clients like Burberry, Skype, Anya Hindmarch and Tom Dixon.
Since 2011, Jailmake’s original work has been exhibited at London Design Festival, TENT London, Tom Dixon’s Be Open Space, The Deptford Project, Grand Designs Live, and Milan’s Salone del Mobile. Jailmake were featured as one of Chevrolet Volt’s 2012 ‘Green Innovators’ in the Huffington Post, as well appearing and designing opposite Kate Moross in the 2014 ‘Skype 5.0: Remastered for iPhone’ advertising campaign. In 2016, we were selected to exhibit at La Triennale di Milano and were also shortlisted for the Amsterdam Light Festival.
Jailmake is an architectural practice based in london, United Kingdom.
