Beatriz Alés Atelier

Beatriz Alés Atelier is an architecture and urban design studio which provides design-based solutions to today's complex spatial challenges — from conception through to construction. To make this possible, we work on a wide range of scales: from territorial and urban planning projects to the reconfiguration and design of individual housing units. Our work is characterized by a strong analytical approach and a dedication to continuous research. Our goal is to promote individual and collective development through interventions which always respect the particular context where they take place.
My name is Beatriz Alés (*1988) and I founded this practice in Berlin in 2015. I am a European Licenced Architect who studied architecture at Universität der Künste (UDK Berlin) and at Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB-UPC), where I graduated with honours. Alongside my practice, since 2017, I have been teaching and carrying out research with Prof. Melanie Humann and Prof. Angela Mensing-de Jong at the TU Dresden's Institute of Urbanism and Urban Studies.
