Iñiguez & Ustarroz
Architects since 1971, Alberto Ustarroz and Manuel Iñiguez are Professors at the San Sebastian School of Architecture, ETSASS. They have been visiting professors and lecturers in the Schools of Architecture of Harvard, Columbia, Politecnico di Milano, Miami, Napoli, Bologna, Lausanne or Liverpool.
In 1987 they were awarded the "Prix Europeén de la Reconstruction de la Ville" given by the Fondation pour l’Architecture Philippe Rothier of Brussels. Their work has been widely exhibited and published nationally and internationally in Domus, Archives d’Architecture Moderne, A+U, Architectural Design, Arquitectura Viva, El Croquis or AV. They have also co-directed the magazine "Composición Arquitectónica, Art & Architecture" and published books such as “La Lección de las Ruinas” (A. Ustarroz, 1997) or “La columna y el muro” (M. Iñiguez, 2001).
