Burr
BURR is an experimental architecture practice led by Elena Fuertes, Ramón Martínez, Álvaro Molins and Jorge Sobejano.
Their practice is semantically grounded in the english term that names them, BURR, which defines imperfections and remnants that appear in a process of material modification. Their interest focuses on situations often considered as leftovers or outside aesthetic or practical canons. Their production is experimental, aiming to expand the spectrum of the spaces we inhabit, the techniques we employ, the materials we use, or the use-of-space models we put into effect.
Burr is an architectural practice based in Madrid, Spain.
