The work of Gru.a (group of architects) has been developed through our pursuit of engagement with the complex reality of the contemporary socio-cultural context, reflecting the commitment to redefine the meaning of the concept of “design” and its preparation process, along with its possibilities of action in our cities. The members of our team have taken active part in the field of academic research. That experience – underpinned on critical activity and on in-depth study of precedents – allows us to try interchanges between our theoretical reflections and our design practice.
