LPSF union house
Oskar Jensen group turned to entasis in order to have a domicile - a trade union house - designed with the expressed purpose of deviating from the norm within Danish business building activities. The domicile was to be placed in the North West district of Copenhagen with the union lpsf as final user.
The main idea was to add to the domicile the same rough character as that of the neighborhood. the efforts resulted in a building that due to a distinct insitu cast concrete facade describes the identity of the trade union as rough and masculine from the outside.
Behind the facade you find another universe of warm and friendly materials, light filtered through lamellas of European larch. Inside, you take care of each other. The domicile was finished ultimo 2006.
