In 2026, nearly 5 million cars are registered and circulating within Swiss territory. This represents approximately 0.5 cars per inhabitant. The car is a resource present across the entire territory. Each year, 200,000 vehicles are taken out of circulation. Two-thirds of them are sent to countries where more flexible regulations are in force. Switzerland relies on neighboring countries to “green” its economy. What if we instead undertook the exercise of revalorizing our resources rather than sending them elsewhere? In the near future, our cars will be nothing more than a memory of a society built around oil. It all remains proposes to look ahead and consider the car as a resource, a building material for tomorrow's architecture.
