Erweiterung Grundschule Heidgraben
Das aus dem Teilabriss und der Erweiterung bestehende Vorhaben geht auf das VgV-Verfahren vom Sommer 2021 zurück und verfolgte das Ziel, die komplette 2-Zügigkeit herzustellen. Der älteste Teil des Bestands, ein historisches Gebäude aus dem vorletzten Jahrhunderts konnte aufgrund gravierender Schäden nicht mehr erhalten werden. Das Ziegelmauerwerk jedoch wurde jedoch nach Abbruch gereinigt und wird in den Fassaden des Neubaus wiederverwertet. So wurde nicht nur Baumaterial und natürliche Ressourcen gespart sondern auch der Geschichte des Ortes Rechnung getragen.Des Weiteren sollten Räume für Differenzierungs- oder Förderunterricht, Büros für die Schulleitung sowie die Schulsozialarbeit geschaffen werden. Der Neubau in Form eines 2-geschossigen Riegels schafft gemeinsam mit dem erhaltenen Bestand eine L-förmige Einfassung des Pausenhofs und öffnet sich mit einer großen Glasfassade zu diesem. Der neue Eingang liegt überdacht und gut auffindbar an der Schulstraße.
Extension of Heidgraben Primary School
The project, comprising the partial demolition and extension of the existing school, originated from the VgV procurement procedure conducted in summer 2021. Its objective was to provide the school with full two-form entry capacity.
The oldest part of the existing building, a historic structure dating back to the penultimate century, could no longer be preserved due to severe structural damage. However, the existing brickwork was cleaned following demolition and is being reused in the façades of the new building. This not only helped to conserve building materials and natural resources, but also acknowledges and preserves the history of the site.
In addition, the project provides spaces for differentiated and support teaching, offices for the school administration, and facilities for school social work.
Together with the retained existing building, the new two-storey linear block forms an L-shaped enclosure around the schoolyard. A large glazed façade opens the new building towards the courtyard. The new entrance is located beneath a canopy on Schulstraße, making it clearly visible and easy to find.
