WINE SHOP Z13
Transformation of a small-scale commercial space into a ritualistic environment.
We took advantage of the existing clear height to create a sense of spatial openness. Verticality thus becomes the true field of action of the project, allowing the space to be freed, its boundaries dematerialized, and an enveloping atmosphere to be constructed.
Between the stone floor and the wooden ceiling—both preserved elements—a series of spatial operations are carried out, focused on reinforcing the idea that, once the entrance threshold is crossed, the client is entering a place of reverence and a sensorial experience centered on the product.
Color becomes a key protagonist of the intervention, washing over the vertical surfaces, shelving, and the furniture itself. Its continuous and immersive presence blurs boundaries, generating a unified and almost abstract perception of the whole. Light and the textures of the different materials create nuances that enrich the space throughout the day. This interior lighting is carefully designed to help generate an almost ecclesial atmosphere. The suspended luminaires reinforce the verticality of the space and engage in dialogue with the existing structure, while accent lighting highlights the product and accompanies the user’s experience.
The result is an interior that, without renouncing functionality, is conceived through emotion, atmosphere, and perception. A space where form, color, and light align to transform a small venue into an intense and deeply sensorial place.
