545 store
The 545 store project takes shape from a precise intuition: to translate the brand’s identity into physical space, building an environment capable of evoking the most authentic sense of dwelling. Not a simple commercial setting, but a place that recalls the idea of home as a welcoming, lived-in, deeply recognizable space.
“We imagined the store as a reinterpretation of the 545 home, working with materials, lighting and furnishings capable of evoking a domestic and familiar atmosphere.” Francesca and Rebecca, co-founders of Studio Musa.
From this vision, a project comes to life in which every element contributes to defining a coherent and immersive language. The materials, lighting choices and furnishings work together to create a warm environment, where the visitor is not merely a guest, but an integral part of the brand’s universe.
At the core of the space is a travertine portal that organizes and connects the two main areas. More than a dividing element, it takes the form of a symbolic threshold, an invitation to passage that marks the entrance into the heart of the store. The path unfolds as a sequence of rooms, recalling the typical structure of a home: a gradual movement towards increasingly intimate and enclosed spaces, in a carefully balanced interplay between sharing and privacy.
At the back, a wooden wall discreetly defines the more functional area, concealing the fitting rooms while also reinforcing the material and domestic dimension of the intervention.
The result is an environment in which identity, hospitality and aesthetic research intertwine naturally, transforming the retail experience into a truly residential one.
