Chiesa della Beata Vergine Assunta, Villa Verde (OR) - Italy
The Villa Verde Church represents the second sacred architectural project by the collaborative team of architects Carlo Atzeni, Maurizio Manias, Silvia Mocci, and Franceschino Serra.
After the Church of Santa Chiara in Sini, which was recognized as the Best Italian Architecture by the Triennale di Milano, the Villa Verde Church represents the second sacred architectural project by the collaborative team of architects Carlo Atzeni, Maurizio Manias, Silvia Mocci, and Franceschino Serra.
Our visual narrative focused on how natural materials such as local stone, marble, and CorTen steel anchor the church in its landscape and interact with light, transforming the space throughout the day and reflecting its spiritual essence.
Both projects were featured in the ""Paesaggi del Sacro"" exhibition at MUACC in Cagliari.
