Water Intellingence Center
Cities have a shared goal: to tackle resource scarcity and the impacts of climate change by advancing towards a sustainable, decarbonized, resource-efficient, and more digital economy.
.
Addressing these challenges will be more manageable with the help of technology, digital tools, and the collaboration and commitment of productive sectors, society, and government.
.
To confront these issues, Aguas de Alicante has committed to digitally transforming its operations and processes in integrated water cycle management and environmental health. This initiative includes innovative solutions aimed at achieving more sustainable territories as part of its strategy for ecological transition, in line with the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
.
From this vision, the idea for the Water Intelligence Center (CiA) was conceived in 2022, located on the ground floor of the former fire station in Plaza Séneca. The center is focused on deploying advanced digital solutions to transform water management and enhance environmental health in urban areas.
