Mobile Office
This mobile office on wheels is currently parked in the courtyard of a private house, but it could be moved and placed anywhere. The structure and layers were designed to be easily assembled; composed of four side panels with openings, a roof with curved edges that enables the rain water to drain, referencing the emblematic buses of Buenos Aires, and a base structure with wheels. These six elements were previously manufactured in the workshop, disassembled, transported, and reassembled on site in one day. All elements were designed to be detachable, adding to the complexity of the system. The challenge was designing modules with their independent insulation and mechanical bonding systems so that, on site, everything could be solved with a screwdriver and riveter. Each mechanism, equipment and carpentry element was custom designed and made as a response to the inner logic of the inhabitable object.
