Renaturalització Parking Liconsa
Terrain Vague. Porous and permeable transformation of 16,000 m² of existing parking space to renaturalize an existing industrial park. Insertion of 3,000 m² of pergola for photovoltaic energy production. KM0 construction. Located in Azuqueca de Henares, Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha.
The successful term Terrain Vague, coined by Solá-Morales in the mid-1990s, referring to a set of expectant but at the same time unproductive and obsolete spaces in cities, gradually faded away at the beginning of the century until it disappeared from mainstream discourse. Today, they could be considered a relic of scholars were it not for the fact that terrain vague continue to graze across cities, reproducing like restless rabbits and creating a web that has ended up devouring the ecosystem of other types of places.
