Ganadería Santillán
The Santillán Ranch is located in the Mexican Bajío region, in a landscape steeped in cattle ranching tradition. The project involved designing a bullring and equestrian space integrated into the terrain, taking advantage of a natural slope to accommodate part of the bullring and extending the existing topography. The architecture was conceived as an extension of the landscape, where paths, tunnels, and semi-buried courtyards interact with nature and light. Using stone materials and restrained forms, the project seeks a timeless presence, almost like a contemporary ruin that enhances the relationship between stone, landscape, and rural tradition.
