Street Smash Burger
The project concerns the renovation of a ground floor in the center of Milan, transforming it into a smash burger space, organized into two main areas and a service zone. The main spatial intervention is the setback of the existing glass façade, aligned not with the building’s front but with the geometry of the interior space, thereby placing the entrance on an axis with the counter at the back.
Inside, the choice of materials reflects the philosophy of the brand: an urban and understated street food space built with concrete and stainless steel. The built-in furnishings are integrated into the design, rising as extensions of the floor: concrete block tables, benches, niches, and the counter itself are conceived as monolithic elements.
The construction is left exposed, giving rhythm and geometry to the space. Stainless steel is precisely inserted into the joints of the concrete blocks, becoming tables, benches, shelves, and work surfaces. Above, polycarbonate curtains conceal systems and lighting, leading toward the open kitchen, designed as a large niche fully clad in stainless steel and completed by a suspended ceiling in polycarbonate panels.
