Lion-Feuchtwanger-Strasse 61

Housing Project Lion-Feuchtwanger-Strasse 61 in Berlin Kaulsdorf.
Surrounded by 1980s prefabricated housing blocks, the multi-story apartment building designed for Euroboden updates the story of serial construction. In doing so, it shows how its structural flexibility can house today's ever-growing range of ideas on how we want to live and work.

Its location along the urban axis connecting nature and the Kaulsdorf Nord infrastructural node gives the project a central presence. The garden plateau connecting the two opposite residential blocks strengthens the visual continuity of this axis.

The balconies of all apartments and the circulation galleries to the two residential blocks are oriented towards this connecting garden plateau. This creates a shared open space for the residential community and creates a sense of identity.
