A mythical venue for underground culture for more than 25 years, Magasin 4 is settling along the Brussels canal. A cultural and evolving infrastructure, this new temple dedicated to music and celebration has doubled its spatial and structural potential. From time one, the architecture offers a surplus of space to increase the planned activities. In the long term, the oversized load-bearing structure allows for the addition of different floors on the building and on either side of it. MAGASIN 4 is a public architecture celebrating Brussels' initiatives, energy and otherness, opening up the place to other possible futures. A hardcore structure with soft additions shouting out: NO FUTURE? FUTURE PROOF!
