Logistics center Alfortville
The project is located in Alfortville. It involves the demolition and reconstruction of a warehouse. The existing building, dilapidated and marked by significant deterioration, could not be rehabilitated; its configuration and condition made it unfit for its intended use. The objective was to construct a single-aspect logistics hotel equipped with two docking doors. The building also includes social areas on the ground floor, accommodating 40 users for the logistics department, and on the first floor, on the mezzanine, a service area for 30 people. The technical rooms required for the operation of the business are integrated into the ground floor.
The building is constructed with a metal frame, double-skin metal cladding, and a colored rain screen that gives an iridescent orange hue to the facades behind the perforated sheet metal.
The access roads were minimized to maximize the space available in the planted area.
