Tapage, bar and wine cellar
TAPAGE is a bar/wine cellar located on the Île de Nantes and specializing in the sale of draft drinks. A large wall of 34 taps serves all the drinks on offer, from beer to wine, cocktails, and various soft drinks. The menu features exclusively local products, thanks to several partnerships with local brewers and winemakers who fill special stainless steel barrels to reduce single-use packaging. Similarly, all drinks are available to take away in returnable bottles!
Based on these unique features, the layout highlights these unique and aesthetic containers: the various stainless steel barrels, stored in full view and even displayed on the wall, and the returnable bottles, gathered in a suspended structure, whose reflections play with the room's lighting.
The bar, raw and radical, is entirely made of stainless steel topped with a varnished reinforced concrete track, cast on site. To soften the cold minerality a little, a soft yet vibrant pink adorns the back bar and highlights the communication materials, designed by Ogaf Studio.
The second room, quickly dubbed the Faceted Room, echoes the thin insulation that already covers the walls of the bar area. This silver covering extends all the way to the ceiling, ensuring ideal diffusion of the lighting and creating an atmosphere conducive to karaoke and other festive activities.
