Construction of new headquarters and workshops for Capsa Container, a subsidiary of the Dreyer Group.
The program, designed to support the rapid expansion of Capsa's container processing activities, brings together the company's new offices and workshops on the Zac des Gaulnes site in the Lyon metropolitan area.
The expression of the project is based on a simple and precise design to meet the objective of modest construction costs, and to reflect Capsa's ambition for commercial and industrial development.
The building volume is integrated into the center of a landscaped plot largely dedicated to the organization of flows, storage of new or converted containers and ICPE facilities (Installations classées pour la protection de l’environnement). The building is constructed from an optimized steel structure covered with a metal skin and aluminum frames, allowing views between inside and outside and promoting natural light in the work and production areas.
Technical tools specific to the process - paint booth and shot-blasting booth - are integrated into the main volume, and a photovoltaic power plant is installed on the roof, enabling the new site to supply part of the energy required for its operation.
