HOUSE WITH A VERANDA
A small veranda with emerald green stained glass provides access to this modest portion of a courtyard, located along a street in the historic center that connects the church to an accessible urban park, a vibrant meeting point for the local community.
The apartment had preserved all its original features, from the floors to the windows and doors. The architectural renovation of the interior was guided by the desire to restore and enhance these unique and rare elements, treating the house as a container of hidden treasures.
Each room’s flooring inspired the color palette used for the walls and furnishings, creating a sense of coherence throughout the spaces.
New living needs and building regulations required the renovation of the systems, but the work was carried out with a consistent stylistic approach, both in the choice of materials and in the methods used.
During the renovation, beneath thick layers of plaster, a floral wall painting was discovered and has now been partially revealed.
