Nestled on the island of Värmdö, just a few kilometers outside Stockholm, this new housing building faces the serene waterside, offering a deep connection to the surrounding natural landscape. The building comprises six apartments spread across three floors, each designed to meet the needs of modern living while maintaining strong ties to the environment. Large panoramic windows flood the interior with natural light, offering unobstructed views of the tranquil water and surrounding forest.
On the roof, two terraces are divided between the top-floor apartments, providing residents with an exclusive space to enjoy breathtaking views over the landscape.
The building’s black wooden facades blend effortlessly with the surrounding nature, nestled among old oaks and towering pine trees. The dark, geometric exterior is intentionally designed to complement the forested setting. In contrast, the interiors embrace natural, warm tones, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
