Vertical Folie
This piece is conceived as a multi-programmatic and spatially compact device. It is located near the reserve's entrance, amidst lush vegetation, and seeks to regain height to offer a new perspective of its context.
The Vertical Folie is a device that amplifies the immersion experience in a dual relationship, inward and outward. Its design concentrates the main program densely in the center, proposing on its four perimeter faces an ascending spiral path that culminates on the terrace. Its facades have a reflective quality, thus adopting the color of the current season. Thus, the building integrates harmoniously with its surroundings while promoting the contemplation of the natural landscape.
On the ground floor, the access point, information center, and equipment storage are located. These spaces serve as an initial node of interaction and orientation for visitors, articulating the entrance and facilitating the reserve's operational logistics. The first level houses sanitary facilities, while on the second, the park ranger's booth is located, who is in charge of the reserve's management and maintenance. The terrace, on the top of the building, functions as a viewpoint, offering panoramic views that encourage bird watching in the landscape, creating a relaxed atmosphere for visitors' recreation.
