In a one hour drive from Munich, a new one-family house with an integrated workshop has been constructed on an existing plot, situated next to family members and to the lake Wörthsee. The building's design is based on traditional boat houses, using a big roof to protect the facade. It is constructed, insulated and covered in wood. The building is not basemented. The living area features a double-height space with a large window, maximizing natural light and providing expansive views of the garden and lake.
