Aqueduc Campus
New Norm for Office Spaces at a Parisian South Gate
Like the Campus from which it takes its name, our aim is to create a building with a strong, attractive identity. The recognizable architectural unity of its facades and the interplay of its volumes, its mixed-use program comprising high-quality workspaces, shared support functions, shops and structuring green spaces, will make the Campus a landmark building on the site. From the Aqueduct, linking the
Bièvre to Paris, a symbolic trace of the site, it borrows its vital energy, that of a sustainable building with high ecological performance, which generates in the site a new ecology of urban practice: at once a place of work and of life in synergy with the neighborhood and its inhabitants. The challenge of integrating the campus is commensurate with its size: 40,000 m² of space between the aqueduct, the ring road and both old and new housing. The Promenade des Aqueducs provides an opportunity to connect with the wider landscape and Greater Paris. The ground floor of the campus actively opens up to this public space through a public program: neo-cantine, sports halls, auditorium, cafeterias,
coworking space... Through a play of folds, the scale of the whole complex is revealed, only to disappear again. The layout connects with the sequences of the ZAC Lenine and develops internal sports and active paths, where water and vegetation are omnipresent.
