RONCHI VILLA
The restoration of Villa Ceragioli in Ronchi (Massa) engages with the original project made by the architects Aldo Rossi and Leonardo Ferrari, aiming to bring to light the distinctive features of this iconic building. The focus of the intervention lies in key elements of the villa, such as the great corner windows and the finishes of the facades. The delicate and meticulous project seeks to faithfully reproduce the original design of the architectural elements. An open house installation has been set up in the perspective of displaying the villa, the first work of the renowned Pritzker Prize-winning architect. The installation reveals the formal and theoretical reasons of the original project. In this spatial reinterpretation, some trunks, obtained from a fallen pine tree, act as an interaction device between the villa and the surrounding pine grove.
