The Meilenwerk Berlin was opened in 2003 in the so-called Wiebehallen. The building was built between 1899 and 1901 and was used as a tram depot under the name Betriebshof Moabit. The remodelled building has received several awards, including the Ferdinand von Quast Medal Berlin Monument Preservation Award in 2004.
