Loft Charlie
The project is located in the heart of Paris’ 19th district, along the Jardin d’Eoles.
Despite its small size, the intervention carried out for this project is radical and reflects a genuine vision of contemporary living. The complete renovation of the dwelling focuses on the idea of bringing together the service rooms (such as the kitchen and bathroom) towards the center of the apartment, to create a spacious, bright, and adaptable living area. Large sliding doors can separate the bedroom from the living room, if desired.
The service block, made of tinted mirror surfaces, is an object that creates the optical illusion of infinite views, both inside and outside the apartment, extending as far away as the Sacré Coeur, located across from the park. This apartment serves as a testament to the “radicality of intervening”, and advocates for the creation of generous, delicate spaces, particularly in a city like Paris where every square meter counts.
