Campus Jacques Pinel
Adapting its methods of action, its equipment, its supply and transport methods is essential for Médecins Sans Frontières to achieve its objective: to provide quality care and relief whatever the terrain and conditions in which it operates, while limiting costs.
This platform dedicated to innovation is used to develop and test new equipment, systems and protocols for humanitarian logistics. The complex comprises a 1,500 m² enclosed and covered building housing the technical workshops, and a new 630 m² building housing various departments. The workshops include meeting rooms, practical work rooms, storage areas and covered deployment areas, as well as outdoor areas dedicated to the installation of the equipment needed for training (solar panels, water station, waste treatment area, latrines, etc.) and operational simulations. A third 600 m² building, the Rotonde, has been refurbished and brought up to standard to accommodate shared areas and a refectory.
