The Monastery of Amelungsborn(1129) in Germany regained its crossing tower in 2016. The new crossing tower by the German Architect Bernhard Hirche/Hamburg is 29 meters high and consists of 500 corten steelplates. It replaces the original crossing tower which was destroyed in the 16th century by fire.
