The waiting space, separated from the operative parts by a wall equipped with non-linear geometry, is obtained with variable depths close to the street windows in order to keep alive the relationship between the interior and exterior. Natural daylight gives quality to the interior spaces, while the artificial lighting in the evening highlights the public function of the place. The convergent or dilating geometries of this environment host different specific areas: reception, paths and expectations, divided into zones with different ergonomic seating modes - chairs with tables and iPads, benches/ alcoves, children’s space.
The clinics, all with natural lighting and special acoustic isolation, are equipped with wardrobes custom made containing the patients’ and doctors’ dressing room, washbasins, medical equipment, and all plant components, including the lights. The remaining space is therefore linear, clean and free, offering greater mobility and providing the flexibility to accommodate different medical specialties. The materials used are continuous and seamless, easy to clean, and perceptively solid. Floor and wall cementitious resins, coloured wood paste conglomerate for large-format fixed and laminated furniture fully meet these requirements.
