34 APARTMENTS AND A NURSERY AT JASMIN STREET
The 34 apartments are placed at the corner of Jasmin street and Henri Heine Street. The challenge of the new building is to conciliate the arrival of a new history to the district seamlessly, to mark the crossroads without replacing them and to symbolize the presence of the new nursery with simplicity.
The project divided between verticality and horizontality tells two stories, corresponding to the two streets and the two programs. The choice of the access to the building pursued occupying the two streets and also showing the two perspectives of the project by a gap and a portico.
By Jasmin street, the search towards the interior of the block is achieved via portico by a vegetal filter wooded and largely iluminated due to the solar orientation of the cluster. This densely vegetalized zone is soil grown and allows the management of the level difference, protecting the nursery from the access of the apartments.
The variety of the typologies is a part of the quality of the project: to favor a greater diversity of apartments by the multiplicity of their sizes.
