Cosmos Pavilions
Cosmos Pavilions is a project located in the forest of Valle de Bravo, a weekend destination two hours away from Mexico City. The pavilions were designed for a one-hectare site that overlook a small lake and are surrounded of wild flowers. The construction consists in two single floors pavilions: the public pavilion rises above the landscape and opens to a portico that connects to the exterior. The private one built in stone lays on the ground where the bathroom becomes a special place that looks to the lake and to a private garden. The project’s small footprint provides greater enjoyment of the natural areas in the terrain. The pavilions have green roofs with wild plants and flowers that visually merge the construction to the landscape. Natural materials predominate in the project such as stone, wood and concrete.
