Bird House
Introducing "Bird House", a stunning garden studio located in the lush greenery of South London, which is a prime example of digitally fabricated modular architecture that boasts the aesthetic of bold shapes and delicate precision. Inspired by the tiny pitched-roof houses for birds, this stylish retreat is a perfect blend of natural beauty and contemporary design.
As you step inside "Bird House", you'll be greeted by a tall ceiling and an abundance of natural light that floods the space, making it feel airy and spacious. The studio is also connected to the garden via beautiful oak-framed openings, allowing the outside in and creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living.
The interior design of "Bird House" is unique and bold, featuring exposed structural plywood elements that add an element of warmth and texture to the space. The plywood elements also serve a functional purpose, providing support for a bespoke shelving system on the back wall.
Blue Vynil floor and white laminated wall panels complement and emphasize the timber elements.
"Birds House" is fabricated by “My Room in the Garden” team and designed by Boano Prišmontas architects, who have long been developing concepts of digital fabrication and have extensive experience building tiny homes and small-scale architectures. Their expertise in digital fabrication techniques has allowed them to create a stunning garden studio that is both beautiful and highly functional.
"Birds House" is a perfect example of how modern architecture can blend seamlessly with natural surroundings, creating a space that not only looks beautiful but also feels like a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
