rNrH industrialized home
"All those who live to satisfy the desires of the people related to living in harmony, are obliged to let go of all spells and mysteries that form a part of the difficult circumstances that underpin the construction of a house." John Entenza
The house is located on a plot with a steep slope in the Barranco de Soterraña, a natural watercourse near Valencia.
An industrialized, fragmented and unplugged house idea developed, integrating passive systems and self-sufficient energy generation.
In this mid-hill location, the house, designed to be manufactured with industrialized components in three months and then installed in a few days, is accommodated on a light metallic structure, that allows habitability in this complex topography, without manipulating or taming it.
Therefore, a sequence of elevated domestic, interior and exterior spaces is developed, thus maintaining the ground runoff regime, and allowing future extensions, incorporating other modules, or simply colonizing parts of this hybrid structural framework.
The house explores this fragmentation, consistent with the proposed construction systems, generating a profound daily relationship with the landscape, without resorting to large glazed surfaces or other devices incompatible with the climate and the budget. Consequently, all parts of the house in this sequence of spaces have direct access to the outside and play with the games of the proposed structure.
The image is only part of much greater complexity.
