Maison D
Architectural leech, the forty square meter extension is designed as a new common space added to a rural residence. The structure is created by assembling several prefabricated wood panels, cut with a CNC. Designed to contrast with the 1980's architecture of the existing house, the additional room offers a quiet and minimal interior, filled with light and in direct relationship with the garden. Its exterior aesthetic and strange geometry echo the traditional barns of the region's villages while offering a distorted vision of conventional rural living.
