The Rodalies project presents such a significant space articulated around a big central patio. The northern, southern and eastern façades follow the perimeter of the block, while the western façade curves adapt to the urban feel of the opposite historical district of Barceloneta. The accommodations feature a clear
separation between the living and sleeping area. In each apartment the kitchen and the bathroom run parallel to the accessing corridor in order to allow an easy and secure inspection of the equipment from outside the apartment.
Moreover, the apartments run perpendicular to the façade granting natural ventilation and illumination of the façade. Each apartment is designed to have natural ventilation throughout the household.
