The Film University as a creative centre of exchange and communication now possesses a building with strong external impact and thus attracts both visitors and passers-by alike. The refectory is easily accessed on the ground floor of the new teaching building. Its curving, organic form stands freely below both upper floors situated above. It retreats from the outer edge of the building opposite them and thus naturally forms the weather-protected, covered outdoor area of the refectory.
