Germany’s most state-of-the-art mill
ATP architects engineers (Vienna) has designed a new mill with an annual milling capacity of 480,000 tons of grain for GoodMills on the port on the River Rhine in Krefeld, Germany. By far exceeding the legal requirements in such areas as product safety, hygiene, and energy efficiency, the cutting-edge building creates a new benchmark.
The specially selected slipform building method delivered not only the required speed of construction but also a very special façade aesthetic with a concrete quality that is rarely found in industrial buildings.
