"perMeMedesimo"
The AGAD studio took care of the preparation of its headquarters in Pisciotta, a small village in the province of Salerno. The spaces are functional to the work activities to be carried out and they are located in a small room of only 35 square meters. The project has assimilated the presence of binding elements (entrance, windows, toilet, shelf in reinforced concrete, visible systems to be concealed), declining in a new composition that grows around the physical center of gravity consisting of a structural pillar in reinforced concrete.
The wall coverings, fixed furnishings and worktops articulate the work phases that characterize the design and development process of the design activities in a tight "physical and temporal" sequence, optimizing the use of the "maximum size" offered from the perimeter. The entrance is marked by the compression of the height due to the mezzanine / storage, or by a "threshold" element that filters the passage between exterior and interior and which enhances the perception of the structural elements in reinforced concrete; the latter, left exposed, "measure" the depth and height of the space in a dynamic contrast of visual planes.
The few materials used (OSB, poplar plywood and cement resin), the calibrated color solutions and the integrated lighting, increase the perception of an intimate and comfortable spatiality in harmony with the - ideal and operational - objectives of the AGAD studio that it intends to promote architectural quality according to a modern and contemporary approach that is, at the same time, in harmony with the traditional architectural historical heritage and with the delicate landscape context of the Cilento National Park.
