Public car park, office building & collective housing.
Private homes with affordable and free access, business premises on the ground floor, SCNF Réseau offices and workshops, public car park and private parking for housing, offices on 2 levels and garden terrace on the car park roof.
The large public staircase separates the SNCF Réseau offices (to the left) and the public car park (to the right), which gives continuous street access at all levels. The staircase also gives access to the public roof (garden, restaurant, and offices)
View from the station platforms, association of the different independent entities which dialogue through a coherent minerality. The public car park framework is calibrated to vehicle dimensions (fall protection) and allows for future changes to be envisaged.
Constructed forms produced by the small dimensions of this plot and the meeting of 2 major urban frameworks: one at right-angles and parallel to the station platforms, the other is diagonal on an axis (with visibility) between the cathedral and Malakoff district.
The access aediculae on the roof of the public car park are part of the continuity of the garden and the light roof constructions in the form of greenhouses and prefabricated wood constructions.
The central double ramp, on a principle similar to the Chambord staircase, allows the ascent and descent flows to be separated.
The public roof garden in the visual continuity of the plant garden facing the project to the north of the railway line.
Principle of the SNCF Réseau building façade, fixed glazing and openings protected by solid, terracotta moucharaby brick work.
Public car park: relationship between the mass coloured concrete exoskeleton and the interior rough concrete floors.
A relational architecture: the project adapts to different neighbourhood situations and prefers support to rupture.
The confrontation of two urban grids generates a non-orthogonal tower and thus housing adapted to different shapes, all different.
A constant of the project: the living room/lounges benefit from a double orientation situation (at an angle) as well as a direct relationship with the private outside space.
Construction of a model / prototype in mass coloured concrete in the workshop during the project study phases.
