Sitting just off Regent's Park, the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is a testament to brutalist architecture, unapologetically striking with its facade of white-tiled casket of concrete and glass, a staple mark of brutalism.
The RCP provides sharp contrast to the Georgian terraces which nestle around its perimeter.
Denys Lasdun's farsightedness runs throughout this architecture, although modernist in style, a multitude of interior elements pay homage to the RCP's deep history with classical style furnishings and paintings of past RCP alumni pave the way throughout the building.
