A LONELY COUNTRY PLACE
A lonely house among ancient, olive trees: once the home of peasants, today a place of rest for a sculptor born in Carrara but now living in Milan.
The facade is simple and rigorous and we can still read the original internal proportions, divided into 8 rooms.
The project has partially redefined the inhabited space to create a unique space in which the ordering element is a brick and white lime septum which becomes the real fulcrum of the common space, the study for his sketches and the artist's library.
