BDC CONSEIL'S OFFICES
The offices of this communications agency in Bagnolet were conceived in the spirit of a workshop, combining artisanal know-how and contemporary vision. Designed on two levels from a free platform, they convey an idea of "work in progress" reinforced by the use of an industrial vocabulary. Beyond the strong presence of wood, it is the image of a forest and the well-being that this reflects that was evoked in the arrangement of heights and breakthroughs, perspectives and crossing views. This is evidenced by the size of the entrance hall, which might surprise the visitor, or the 180° view of the manager's office upstairs. Far from being simple boxes within a box, the large living areas in white stained wood delimit the organization of the different spaces. Avoiding the facile solution of open space, the layout of workstations benefits from a real hierarchy. They maintain their independence while being part of a unified whole through the choice of materials and colours. Favourable for creativity, this warm place becomes a real sanctuary from the anxiety-provoking climate of a difficult neighbourhood.
