This piece was inspired by the Ferques site, the largest open-pit single quarry in France. Artists selected, among thousands, a 5-ton piece of limestone, which they scanned in order to tailor a minimal concrete structure that becomes a meditative sanctuary, an ode to stone that usually disappear within the architecture.
La Chapelle is the inaugural micro-architecture of PRIMA foundation sculptural park.
