Casa CSC
A plot destined to build three rest houses is divided and organized in response to the pre-existences. The most important of them are the views and a big tree located at the center of the land. This tree defines the position and direction of the volumes, it works as a rotational axis to place the exterior spaces, structuring the field that defines the diverse scales of the proposal.
The land subdivision answers to a two folded fragmentation strategy. First the slope of the land, divided into platforms and adapted to the topography creating spaces at different heights. Secondly the resulting platforms create different independent spaces on which three dwelling units are placed, and whose specific geometry arises from the relationship between the object, the modification of the immediate territory and the context.
The position of the volumes is defined by the platforms on site. The orientation responds to solar incidence and the views towards the impressive landscape surrounding the project. The volume´s geometry and shape are the result of the different spatial dynamics of the program, contained in a reinterpretation of the traditional slanted roof constructions. In this way, the houses’ shapes represent the synthesis of programmatic variations dialoguing with the sites’ geographical and constructive conditions.
